**NEW** Online Classes at Chelley Bean Designs

This is what I've been working on recently.
Organising online classes for Chelley Bean Designs.
Our classroom will be run through a site called Wiziq. It's very easy to use and you do have to register with Wiziq to participate in classes. I had a practice run with some friends last friday to test it all out and it worked perfectly and the girls really enjoyed the class. Some girls were participating in their very first class ever and loved it!

So, to launch the very first Chelley Bean class...I'm asking you to join me for a FREE CLASS to see how it all works and create a layout in the process!!

Class Details:
Date: Friday 26th February
Time: 7.30pm (Qld time)
Duration: Approx 2 hours
NOTE: The classroom does open at 7pm, so you can head in for a chat to me and your classmates a little earlier if you wish, but that's totally optional. Class starts at 7.30pm sharp.

**Another thing to remember when registering with Wiziq, is to set your time zone correctly. With so many different timezones across Australia and overseas, it's hard to keep a track.
For example...If you are in NSW, you will need to set it to "your" time as the class will be scheduled for 8.30pm, not 7.30pm. Get the idea??

You can register for the class here.

Here's a sneak peek of the class...You'll be creating a single layout, using multiple photos and learning how to make spiral flowers.
Sound like fun??

Here's a list of supplies you will need for the class, so you can organise yourself beforehand!

Supplies List:
* Cardstock or Patterned Paper - This is your base
* 1 x Patterned Paper or cardstock that measures approx. 23.5cm x 27cm

Introducing the Chelley Bean Designs Creative Team

Here's the much awaited post announcing the Creative Team for Feb-July.
Congratulations to the new team members and I thank everyone who put in an application. There was some beautiful work sent to me and it was a really tough job.
I think these girls will do a wonderful job for Chelley Bean and give you plenty of inspiration.

So, without further ado...ANNOUNCING...

My name is Toni Crane and I live in sunny Queensland. I have been married for 17 years to my wonderful hubby Stephen and we have 6 wonderful kids.

I have been scrapping and teaching it for 10 years now and was one of last years Scrapbooking Memories Masters. I absolutely love this craft and am super exctied to be on the Chellebean DT. I'm am very product driven and love to play with all things new and different. My inspiration comes largely from my family, products and trying out new techniques. If you see anything on my pages you would like to have a go at and aren't sure of, I will be more than happy to help out. Other than that, I hope I do Chelle's products justice and can in some small way inspire you.

My name is Tania Davey. I live in the Hills of Perth WA, with my husband and our 5 kids. I work in real estate, in the family business. I teach scrapbooking at a local store in Perth WA. I have been scrapping for 7 years (OMG is it that long) and I’m still as addicted today as I was when I first started cutting up paper! I also Love Mixed media Stuff, and this year I’m enjoying art journaling!

My name is Pearl and I'm a SAHM to 2 wonderful children, living in Sunny Singapore. I first started scrapbooking after my wedding in 1993 , without using any acid free products .There were very few acid free products available then here . Needless to say , that album is now yellow with age ! After the birth of our daughter in 1995, I started cardmaking via punchart and acquired the tools , punches and papers in the hopes that they would be useful for my kids at the right age. Well, I'm still the main user of all that product and tools ! From 2006, onwards ,there was such a shift in products available in the papercraft industry and I started using more scrapbooking products in my cardmaking. Magazines and on-line galleries were full of inspiration, so by October 2006 I started scrapbooking again and have never looked back since.

My name is Marnie Sanford, I'm 24 and currently live in Perth (soon to be in Brisbane). I've been scrapbooking for about 6 years now. I was inspired to take up this craft after my mum passed away - I wanted to be able to journal and create pieces with memories of her. Since then it has grown into something more than that. It fulfills my creative side and combines my passion for photography too. I definately scrap for myself. I am a product junkie, and am constantly inspired by new lines that are released. I love bright colours and fairly simple pages, often focused on one photo.

Congratulations and welcome girls...I'm very excited to have you on the team!

Weekend Find on Etsy

This weekend I'm featuring a lovely lady from Japan who I recently purchased some goodies from. Her name is Karen and she sells the most awesome tape...called Washi masking tape. Made from Japanese washi papers. You'll see it grace my pages quite a bit from now on. I've just finished a couple of pages using it!!

Remember the layout I did not long ago, featuring the new butterflies...

Well, the aqua and green strips are the washi tape.
Fabulous stuff. It added plenty of colour to my page in this layout!

Here's some close ups...

It has a sort of a waxy feel, and can be used on scrapbooking pages, it can stick up presents, you can write on it and it has plenty more uses...I just love the stuff.

Karen's Etsy shop is called Wasimatta, and she's lovely.
Very helpful and a great seller. I highly recommend her!!

She also as a blog, with plenty of yummy new items.
I might be putting in another order very soon! ;)
Be sure to check her out!!
