Weekend Find on Etsy
This weekend I'm featuring a lovely lady from Japan who I recently purchased some goodies from. Her name is Karen and she sells the most awesome tape...called Washi masking tape. Made from Japanese washi papers. You'll see it grace my pages quite a bit from now on. I've just finished a couple of pages using it!!
Remember the layout I did not long ago, featuring the new butterflies...
Well, the aqua and green strips are the washi tape.
Fabulous stuff. It added plenty of colour to my page in this layout!
Here's some close ups...
It has a sort of a waxy feel, and can be used on scrapbooking pages, it can stick up presents, you can write on it and it has plenty more uses...I just love the stuff.
Karen's Etsy shop is called Wasimatta, and she's lovely.
Very helpful and a great seller. I highly recommend her!!
She also as a blog, with plenty of yummy new items.
I might be putting in another order very soon! ;)

I just wanted to say a BIG Thank you to the girls that applied for the Chelley Bean Creative Team.
It's been a tough job going through them all. I'm still yet to make a final decision...I want you all!!

The Flour Mill Markets this Friday 22nd January...
There will be a selection of Chelley Bean at the Flour Mill Markets this Friday 22nd January.
The markets run from 9am-2pm, and this is their very first market, so we hope you can pop by if you're in the area.
My Mum, Di will be there selling Chelley Bean goodies...
I'm off on a short break for a few days from Thursday 21st til Monday 25th January.
A lovely "girly" break with some girlfriends!
You can still purchase from my Etsy store during this time but items will not be packed and posted til I return on the 25th January.
Any emails will be responded too then also.

New Butterflies
I've added some hand-punched butterflies today.
The music butterflies are cut from Vintage music sheets and the text butterflies from a 15yr old novel. By Etsy terms, not quite vintage just yet! (It's got to be 20yrs to be classed as vintage)
Each are $2 for a set of 12 butterflies.
Here's the Music butterflies...
and the Butterflies from the text...
I've also had a play today and done a sample using each butterfly - music and text.

So, they can be stitched on, glued, use some mounting foam or dressed up with bling, buttons, pearls, glitter, painted or whatever you can think of!

I'm on the search for a Creative Team...
Yep, I'm on the search for a Creative Team for Chelley Bean Designs.
I'm after some fresh designers to showcase Chelley Bean products.
If you think you've got what it takes, please email me.
A little bit of inspiration goes a long way, right??
Here's the details:
* I am after 3 members to join the Chelley Bean Creative Team
* Each month you'll need to complete at least one project to be shared on the blog.
* The Creative Team postion will be for a period of 6 months (1st February 2010 - 1st July 2010).

Chelley Bean Designs Article
With so much going on over Christmas, New Years and then a holiday...I've hardly had time to mention my article, that I wrote all about Chelley Bean Designs that was published in Scrapbooking Memories Vol.11 No.12.
Very exciting indeed.
Talk about a great 2 page spread...I was very excited to see it in the flesh.
It's all about Chelly Bean Designs and how it began and maybe where I'm going.

How can you not get excited?
In other news, I've been featured again on Etsy today in a turquoise treasury this time.
I'm loving all this exposure...

Happy New Year and welcome to 2010...
Happy NewYear to everyone that follows my little blog!
It's 2010! How did that happen???
I hope you had a lovely time seeing in the New Year. I certainly did. I was on a beach on Moreton Island when the New Year struck! Celebrating with lots of family and friends.
It was fabulous!
I just thought I'd do a quick post today and say how amazed I am that the Chelley bean Facebook page now has 100 friends!! Wowsers??
I'm impressed and a little excited!
I have something to share with you soon...Shhh, I don't want to spoil the surprise.
